Well, my Bride and I made a paper chain with one link representing everyday I will be gone. We are going to let my brood take off one link every night before bed to count down the time. Tried it once by crossing off days on a calendar but my yard apes just didn't get the concept. Perhaps this more visual, tactile method will help.
