Hardtack and Havoc

A private of the 1st Texas Volunteer Infantry Civil War Reenactor with a day job in Uncle Sugar's Navy trapped in the unholy land of New England...I wish I was still in Iraq.

Greetings From Rhein-Main Germany

It has been a miserably long flight and we are only halfway there!!! First AMC was late out of Atlanta, that was to be expected. I bought a horseshoe shaped travel pillow at an exorbinate price in Atlanta to enhance my personal comfort. It worked great until Baltimore where they threw us off the plane for a couple of hours. They told us to leave our stuff on our seat or in the overhead bins. When I returned my exhorbinantly priced travel pillow had been replaced by a cheap ass airline pillow and a bag o' blanket. Needless to say the flight crew was of no help. It is a small thing but It has really pissed me off!!!!!!

Germany looks pretty much the same as the eastern U.S., what little I have seen. I would like to spend some time here. I got a hankerin' for some saurbraten, schnitzel, eine gutes dunkles deutche bier, rotteller mit kartafol salad. Yummy. Oh well, confined to the terminal. At least the USO is comfortable.

TO THE TYRANT NEVER YIELD
