On The Road Again

Sorry I have not posted lately. I have been on the road traveling again. I have been back from a six month deployment for three weeks now and this is my THIRD TAD trip. I love the Navy. I refuse to believe the fate of the free world depends on me being on the road! I would much rather be at home right now, maybe tomorrow. On the bright side, I was able to have dinner with the Sister the "Actress". Actually, actress shouldn't be in quotes. She has been able to make a living at her chosen profession and I am pretty proud of her. Also, she is really good at acting. Still, I worry about her. Oh well, I think I will turn into my cold hotel bed and go to sleep. I miss my Bride.

Speaking of on the road, you should know that only 10% of the population of Tidewater is actually "from here". Everybody else was transferred here by the military. It hasn't been a bad place to be. esp. if you like a lot of diversity... in your weather. (You know, if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it will change.) Good luck on your road trip and watch out for those state troopers. Va. State Troopers were never issued a sense of humor.
