Hardtack and Havoc

A private of the 1st Texas Volunteer Infantry Civil War Reenactor with a day job in Uncle Sugar's Navy trapped in the unholy land of New England...I wish I was still in Iraq.

What a Fine Navy Day!

I think I am now good to go on local time. Got a reasonable night sleep, generator, forklifts, trucks not with standing, and I feel pretty good this a.m. My tent is in the wrong location I have discovered. It is on a corner of two main in camp arteries. It also appears to be next to a Kellog, Brown and Root staging area and the forklifts were running all night long. It disturb me to much, I was just that tired.

The soil here is like beige talcum powder, it gets into everything!!!! For that matter it is hard to get off of anything which is a strange paradox. It gets into stuff with out effort yet it takes extreme effort to get it out. There has to be a violation of natural law here somewhere. A lot of areas have been covered with crushed gravel and that really helps to keep the dust down. However, we need more gravel.

TO THE TYRANT NEVER YIELD
