Take Back Our government

The American government is supposed to be government of the people, for the people, by the people governed by the limitations of the Constitution. It has not been so since 1865 when the Constitution was slain. Our government has gotten steadily worse ever since. They have broken the faith with the American people. They embrace everything that should be repugnant and despicable to the American Character. Over six hundred thousand Americans died the last time the Americans tried, for right our wrong, to stop the usurption of power by the federal government (yes, I know it is much more complicated than that) and I guess we learn our lessons well since we have continued to let our Representative Republic slide into socialism and continue on its inevitable slide toward true despotism. We must all work to stop the decline and maybe this is a good first step! In 1773 a "tea party" sent an effective message to the oppressors! When we lived in Hawai'i, the locals, fed up with the corruption and cronyism of the Hawai'i democratic party, threw a "Honolulu Tea Party" on the grounds of the State Capitol that in my mind led to the election of the first Republican Governor of the Islands EVER! Maybe it might could work again! Go get your Tea Bags!
