Hardtack and Havoc

A private of the 1st Texas Volunteer Infantry Civil War Reenactor with a day job in Uncle Sugar's Navy trapped in the unholy land of New England...I wish I was still in Iraq.

Wacky Iraqis

We were all out at one of the ranges playing with our crew served weapons, RPKs and AKs when one of our senior Iraqi officers takes a brand new SAPI plate issued to one of his Jundis, places it on the target line and fires three rounds into it. While it is cool to see that they actually will stop bullets it's totally uncool to see a perfectly good plate destroyed. Wouldn't have even really cared about that except that they are kind of hard to come by in the Iraqi supply system and for the time of year that it is now. You see, that plate was not paid for by Ministry of Defense funds or even funds generated by the Iraqi state. That $750 plate was bought and paid for by money STOLEN FROM ME BY THE IRS AND THE THIEVING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. That's right folks, I watched a damn fool Iraqi blow away my money for sh*ts and grins. I darn well oughta itemize my deductions and claim that plate under the justification of pure stupidity! I don't really give a flying f*** at a rolling doughnut what they do with their own money but once they waste my money it starts to rile me up, particularly when that money was taken from me by threat of force by an over-reaching, constitution ignoring, low down, scum-sucking, thieving gubberment don't have the righteous constitutional authority to take my money in the first place!

TO THE TYRANT NEVER YIELD
