Hardtack and Havoc

A private of the 1st Texas Volunteer Infantry Civil War Reenactor with a day job in Uncle Sugar's Navy trapped in the unholy land of New England...I wish I was still in Iraq.

Welcome To The Naval Infantry

Finally settled into our delightful open bay barracks at the training site. Accommodations SUCK A$$ but we are gonna do some cruel fun stuff. We get to go camping for the next couple of weeks. The best part is while we’re at Army camp we’re gonna blow stuff up an…an we’re gonna drive up-armored humvees an…an we’re gonna shoot stuff from moving up-armored humvees an…an we’re gonna take combat life savers course an…an we’re gonna play with live hand grenades and automatic grenade launcher an…an we’re gonna play with crew served weapons an…an we’re gonna do live fire buddy exercise an…an shoot things an....an....an we're gonna break things. They are even gonna give my my very own M4 Carbine for which to reek havoc with. I think I will name it after my Bride cuz she is short and dangerous as well. I can’t believe they pay me to do this stuff. I HAVE SUCH A WOODY!
